Hi, and welcome (back) to Edinburgh Napier University. My name is Stuart Campbell, I have been a student here at Napier for the last 2 years studying Business Management, and I am the Campaigns & Representation Officer for this year.
My job is to ensure the collective interests of Napier students are represented with fairness and equality. I act as a primary communicator between the student body and the university through the committee structures, and participation in student and university activities.
Additionally, I will be organising a range of campaigns throughout the year to raise awareness of various health issues, including "Movember" - a high student-involvement, month long charity event taking place in the month formerly known as November.
I will be working not only as part of a team alongside my fellow sabbatical officers, and the executive committee, but also as part of the team that binds all Napier students - we are all 'Team Napier' - the better we work together collectively, the better we will have our individual interests represented.
I will be spending a fair amount of time on campus' with students, listening to your issues, and working with you to ensure the student voice is heard and getting results.
Remember though, that NSA is your student union. If you have any events or campaigns you want run, I am here to facilitate you, and provide support and resources to get your campaigns moving.
So if you see me around, feel free to come up and say "Hi". After all, I am here to get things done - with you and for you.
Stuart Campbell - NSA Campaigns & Representation Officer 09/10.
