Have fun while creating your future!

My name is Justyna and I am the Vice President responsible for Reps & Volunteers at Napier Students’ Association. I am here for you, to represent your voice at the university and to help students at Edinburgh Napier to get involved in university life as much as possible by developing volunteering opportunities.
My aim is to get our students involved in activities organised by the Students’ Association and help them gain non-academic employability skills. The university is here to help you gain an academic qualification, but this is only part of your university experience and only part of what future employers look for in new graduates.

    Why get involved?

  • A chance to make a positive difference to the lives of fellow students and the community
  • Access to an exciting network of people and experiences
  • An opportunity to learn new skills and increase your employability
  • The possibility of increasing your social and relationship skills
  • For fun

There are lots of great volunteering opportunities in which you, as a student, can get involved. It's very easy - and the rewards are great for you and, hopefully, for others too!

There is a range of volunteering opportunities to cater for different needs:

  • It can mean doing something for your fellow students – being a good programme representative and improving their student experience.
  • It can mean working with people in the community, or on environmental projects.
  • It may doing events and sponsored activities to generate revenue for charity.
