Event Description

Overview

Are you going to the Freshers Ball?
NSA brings you a crash course in traditional Scottish Ceilidh dancing!

Ceilidh Dancing is a beloved feature of almost any Scottish occasion and although it is great fun, it can be a little daunting at first (especially because nearly every Scottish person learnt it at school!!).

The Scottish Dancing Practice Sessions will have you 'Stripping the Willow' and dancing a 'Dashing White Sergeant' in no time.

With a live band and a “Caller” (aka instructor), this is your chance to learn some of Scotland’s traditional dances before the Freshers' Ball.
