NSA Elections - Aran Simm

Over the past 6 months I have worked for the NSA as President and I want to carry on doing so because I know that it is impossible to achieve my goals in just the one year. That is why I am standing again to be President.

The main issues that I want to continue to tackle at Napier:

• Reduced Tutorial Sizes.
• Develop an inclusive Napier Spirit between all our Campuses to create one unified Napier.
• Greater integration of International Students with Home and EU students at Napier.
• Improve the Canteen Food and the services you can get on Campus and at NSA offices.
• Help Develop Societies encourage new, more active societies to broaden the things you can do at Napier.
• Help develop Sports Clubs and generate interest in new clubs.
• Generally improve what it is like to be a student at Napier, by making it easier to navigate the systems of the university and safer to live in the city. Generally improving the STUDENT EXPERIENCE.
• Increase the popularity around campuses of the student paper, Veritas.
• Making sure the University's new Campuses are designed around students as it does not normally happen.

I want a job where I can listen to people about their problems and worries, then go to the university and represent them at the highest level about the issues which matter to them. Allowing their voice to be heard by the people that really count in the University.

I want a job where I can represent students. A job where I will make a difference!
