8th-12th March 2010 is Student Election Week! We are asking all Edinburgh Napier students to have their say in who gets to represent them next term by voting in the elections. You can vote by logging in to the Student Portal between 9am and 5pm. Check the link for info on all the candidates who are standing this year.
St.Patrick's Day - 17th March

Come and celebrate St.Patrick's Day at the Union Bar on 17th March. Tickets £3 (includes entry to after-party venue once the union closes). Raffle on the night where every ticket is a winning ticket. With live music, a DJ and Irish stew served all day.
Open Mic Nights

The Music Society presents Open Mic Nights at the Student Union Bar (12 Merchiston Place). Fancy performing in a relaxed atmosphere in front of a friendly crowd? Come along and show us what you can do. Fortnightly on Fridays from 7pm, starting from Friday 19th February.
Napier's Got Talent

Napier's Got Talent is back for 2010! We are looking for students to perform, entertain, and wow us at the Union in heats that will be held throughout February. Singers, dancers, comedians, musicians, magicians...whatever you can do, we want to hear from you. Contact m.paris@napier.ac.uk for info and to book a spot.
Quiz Nights

The Union will be holding monthly Monday quiz nights, starting on 25th January with a Burns Night themed quiz. The entry fee for contestants is £1 each, and there are prizes to be won. The following quiz night will be held on Monday 15th February.
Fridays @ The Union

Start the weekend at the Union Bar (12 Merchiston Place) and you can get yourself free entry to The Picture House on Lothian Road on Friday and Saturday night! All you need to do go to the Union after 6pm on Fridays and you can collect a free pass for Picture House at the bar.
