Every year Napier Students' Association organises a week of events for the new intake of students. The aim is to help those new to Napier and student life to settle in, have some fun and make new friends. Here is the current schedule of events for January Freshers (lineup subject to change):

MONDAY 11TH JAN will see The Union holding the FRESHER'S WELCOME HOUSE PARTY! This house party themed event will have a chilled out atmosphere, with pool tournaments, singstar competitions and more! You even get to be the DJ. Pyjamas optional. Entry £3, under 18s welcome.

TUESDAY 12TH JAN "The Haggis Hunt" - See a bit of town and spot a bit of street culture, call in at a few bars on the way to a nightclub (with promos). Starts at Biddy Mulligan’s in the Grassmarket. Very popular event. Strict numbers limit will apply. £10 includes a burger and a bit of tartan tat to keep you warm. Over 18s only.

WEDNESDAY 13TH JAN - the Napier BACK2SKOOL reunion party club night. Headmasters, teachers, dinner ladies, janitors, lollipop man and ladies, and of course students - we want to see them all there! With fun and games along the way, this will be a night to remember! BACK2SKOOL will be hosted by the THE HIVE club on Niddry street in Edinburgh, with a fab variety of drinks promos and music genres. THURSDAY 14TH JAN - Freshers Fair at Craiglockhart campus room 1/10 (12 noon - 4pm). Featuring stalls with useful information and advice plus Edinburgh Napier's sports clubs and societies. Free entry, under 18s welcome.

THURSDAY 14TH JAN - Edinburgh Ghost tour. Afternoon/early evening tour of the spooky bits of Edinburgh with professional tour guides. Tickets £5 (must be bought by Wednesday at latest), under 18s welcome.

FRIDAY 15TH JAN - Chill Out night at the Union Bar. Cool, funky sounds and acoustic set. From 7.30pm-11pm. Numbers limited by capacity, under 18s welcome. £2.

A week saver pass that gets you entry to all of the above events will be available for £20 (over 18s only). Tickets will be available on campus on Monday and Tuesday, and from NSA at 12 Merchiston Place throughout the week.

Students will have to present proof of age (passport or driving license) when buying tickets and also when entering the venues.
