Freshers Week 2.0
Rebooting 16th January
NSA's Freshers Week is back! Following the huge success of September's
week of events, we present part 2 to kick off the new term after the
winter break.
ALL Edinburgh Napier students and their friends are welcome to come
along. There are no advance tickets sales, however you are advised
to get to the events early. Every event in September's Freshers Week
sold out!
EVENING EVENT - "Battle of the Universities". 999 Emergency Services Themed party at Lava & Ignite (West Tollcross). All of the universities will be coming together for one big night. We welcome back the legendary student DJ & Comedian of the year, Anth Peacock who starred at the HMV Picture House launch party. 3 Rooms of music! £5 entry before midnight. £6 after midnight. Doors 9pm.
DAY EVENT - Urban Paintball. Napier will
be taking over the brand new Urban Paintball Arena in Leith for a
day of shooting your mates! £15 for 500 balls, £5 for 100. 12pm-5pm.
EVENING EVENT - Comedy Night. Due to a high number of you asking
for a comedy event we will be hosting one at Maggie's Chamber which
will feature Joe Heenan plus up and coming student comedians! £2.50
entry. Doors 7pm.
EVENING EVENT - "Bassment" @ The Lane (Queensferry Street Lante).
Dubstep/Electro/Drum & Bass, Classic Hip hop night featuring DJ
Sparky, DJ Fusion, MC Silver and more.
£4 entry, Doors 10pm
DAY EVENT - Sports & Societies refreshers
fair. Held up at Craiglockhart Campus foyer. A second chance
to sign up to any sports team or society. Plus other stalls featuring
useful information for students. FREE ENTRY.
EVENING EVENT - Play On @ Opal Lounge (George Street)
Featuring DJ Sak Noel who topped charts in the UK and across Europe
with his hit floor filler, LOCA PEOPLE. The potential anthem for the
TEAM NAPIER holiday to Salou in April?! £5 entry before midnight.
Doors 9pm.
DAY EVENT - Dodgeball tournament. Teams
of 8 will compete in a group stage format to compete for the first
ever Dodgeball Championships at the Sighthill Sports Centre Gym.

EVENING EVENT - Pub Crawl. Voted as the number one most popular
event of Freshers 2011 we are delighted to announce we will be having
another LEGNEDARY Freshers Pub Crawl. £10 entry - includes t-shirt/buffet/free
entry to club. Starts at The Three Sisters from 6pm.
5-a-side Tournament. Ending an unreal week
with some football action at the Engage Sports Gym at Sighthill (1:30pm-5:30pm). 5
a side football tournament. Maximum team entry - 7 players.
