Amnesty, as you probably know, is a worldwide network of people working for the enforcement of Human Rights since 1961. The motto is:

“It is better to light a candle than to curse the darkness”

We are quite a young society, but there is a lot of things that we want to do for the case! Our group´s activities involve campaigning, fundraising and letter writing. Have a look at our Facebook Page.

Our regular meetings take place on Tuesdays, 6pm. The more informal letter writing session is on Mondays, 1.30pm at the (downstairs) Cafeteria in Merchiston Campus.
