There is a brand new society at Edinburgh Napier which is called 'Discover China Society'(DCS). It is open to everyone whatever nationality you are, be it Chinese or otherwise!

Aims:

• Provides an opportunity for integration between Chinese students and foreign students

To let you know more about:

• Chinese Culture (e.g. Song, Tea, why RED? Why no number 4?)
• Chinese Food (e.g. Dumpling)
• Tradition and custom (e.g. Lunar New Year, Mid-Autumn Festival)
• People (e.g. Pretty Chinese Girl? Or Handsome Chinese boy?)
• Languages (e.g. Mandarin, Cantonese)

The association will provide you a better understanding of the culture via different ways such as Chinese language and Cultural Classes. Moreover, it will be a great chance for you to taste and try to fall in love with (or become addicted to) the Chinese Food, as the 'Discover China Society' card offers a wide range of discounts in several Chinese restaurants in Edinburgh. A card has got 16 partnerships offering up to 15% off in some of the restaurants.
