Drama Society was set up 12 years ago with 2 simple premises. 1 - that anyone interested in any aspect of drama, whether it’s acting, directing, writing or lighting, gets a chance to try it all out. And 2 - perhaps just as important, to give people a chance to make new friends, end up at the pub together and find the evidence on Bebo and Facebook the next day.

Drama Throughout the year we organise a large number of events, both on stage and off. We try to have a single night show at Xmas and a main production in the 2nd semester. But add to that workshops, both self run and professional, theatre trips, bowling, the Sports/Soc Ball, various house parties, pub crawls, nights at the union, and, of course, the Oscars. We keep ourselves busy and have fun doing it.

So lets make it simple. You supply yourself and we’ll supply the banter. Drama meets every Tuesday night at Merchiston Campus in room H18 at 7pm. If you want to join or would like more info, please get in touch.
