Friends of Nepal

‘Friends of Nepal’ at Napier University was established in 2006 as an official NSA society for the first time to promote the friendship between people who wanted to explore Nepal in terms of culture and tradition. In addition, ‘Friends of Nepal’ is working towards providing a social platform where people of all backgrounds and cultures can share their experiences, opinions and views. During its short period of existence, the society has successfully organised various events like food festivals, movie shows and apart from that an active participation in the ‘Freshers Fayre’.

Recently the society has been reformed and I, Katherine Turner, have replaced Nirjhar Bimohan Shrestha as the new president of the society. I would like to thank you all for providing this great opportunity. I would like to thank Nirjhar and his team for the successful completion of their period. In the mean time I would like to take this opportunity to welcome all who are interested on the society whether just to participate in the various events we organise or want to run the program on your own supervision.
