Archery

Ever fancied trying something different? Edinburgh Napier University Archery Club was set up at the tail-end of 2004 and has been competing regularly at inter-university competitions.

We look forward to welcoming students of ALL standards, whether a pro or someone who doesn’t even know how to hold a bow, to come along and see what we do and give archery a go for themselves.

Don’t worry if you don’t have your own kit as the club has its own stock of equipment that you can train with. Target archery is about high precision and technical support (give or take a little luck), which doesn’t require you to be all that fit or strong (hooray!) We have two main seasons, an indoor and an outdoor, which take place over winter and what passes for a Scottish summer. However one of the most important aspects of the club is our social life as we all enjoy nothing better than a pint and a bit of chat.
