The Edinburgh Napier University Cycling Club is an energetic and lively club filled with students devoted to cycling in different forms. Currently the club mainly deals with mountain biking but we are looking to grow for 2010/11 into the road and track disciplines. We have a wide range of skill levels within the club but our main goal is to try and improve those skills no matter where they may be.
As a club we are looking to race the BUSC downhill and cross country races, selected SDA races and possibly BDS races. Select road and track races are also available. We currently run official days out as a club to Glentress and Innerleithen, as well as these days out we go out to local tracks and far away ones depending on who is around and what transport is available at the time.
The great thing about our club is that we all do things as a group and try and push each others limits to improve one another. We also help each other with any mechanical problems and queries that anyone may have. There is always a good atmosphere and banter on any of our trips no matter what the weather or what may come our way.

Trip’s take place every month and are usually at the weekend. We do ask that members have a well maintained cycle as we currently cannot provide members with any. This may be an extreme sport but we still encourage safety so we advise that members wear protective gear.
The 2010/11 year will be a good one for this club and we hope to see you there enjoying it with us.
