Do you want to keep fit, meet new friends and enjoy a great social life? Join Napier Netball Club, and come and play against other Scottish universities throughout the year.

We are looking for enthusiastic new members to represent the team. Whether you are first year, or fourth year, everyone is welcome. It doesn’t matter if you have been playing for years, haven’t played since primary school, or are completely new to the sport. We are looking for people who can commit to the Club, and will also enjoy playing.

All the previous members of the Club are very welcoming, and there are great social benefits to joining us. We usually meet up every Wednesday for the university’s sports night out, and this often involves fancy dress and a few cheeky sambuca shots. There is also the Sports & Socs Awards Ball to look forward to. This is near the end of the season - all the players are encouraged to attend, and it gives everyone a chance to get dressed up.

The club has been vastly improving throughout the year, as the players have began to work well as a team, but we still need new players to help us continue the improvement. We travel throughout Scotland to play away games, and these trips are always a lot of fun on the minibus.

We have a fully qualified coach to take training sessions, and this is very beneficial to our continual improvement. There are also many courses that take place throughout the year, including umpiring courses. These are very helpful for improving netball skills, and can also look good on your CV. Being in the netball team allows you to make lots of new friends, and keep fit at the same time.
