Sub Aqua

sub-aqua

Napier University Sub-Aqua Club is an enthusiastic and lively club, with members from all walks of University life. NUSAC is a branch of the Scottish Sub-Aqua Club and we follow the Scot SAC training programme to give people all the skills needed for scuba diving. New trainees join in September, learning theory and practical skills in the pool initially, before progressing to the open water.

Experienced divers are also catered for with frequent day trips, weekend trips and summer evening dives to partake in. We are very fortunate to offer inexpensive training and our reliable lock-up next to the Union stores all the equipment you will need for diving. You can learn an exciting and fun new skill which you can take all over the world for a fraction of what it would cost with a commercial club.

So, with all this is it possible the diving club can offer even more? Well, yes. Diving with us in Scotland takes you to some of the most beautiful and scenic coastal areas you will see anywhere. You get the added advantage of enjoying the view from two perspectives – above and below the water. In the evenings there is always time for a pleasant stroll along the beach or an easy hike through some pretty woodland. We even manage to provide you with some long, sunny days (not guaranteed)!

If you like the idea of being under the sea, spending outdoor days surrounded by spectacular views and enjoying lively evenings with friendly people, email us - whether you’re a complete beginner or otherwise. We would love to hear from you!
