Volleyball

Edinburgh Napier Volleyball meets up weekly for training sessions, incorporating both coaching and games. We are open to all kind of students who like team sports and having good fun! Those who decide to join our team will spend unforgettable moments on the court and gain friendships that might last years.

Those who have never played volleyball are welcome to expand their knowledge and skills in this beautiful sport and keep a good body shape. Our sessions are adjusted to different levels of players. Each training session aims to be different and more interesting then the previous one.

For those who have already played volleyball, we invite you to try out for the university team to take part in competitions all over the Scotland. Apart from healthy rivalry there is opportunity to visit different cities in Scotland and make new friends interested in the same sport.

Both the women’s and men’s teams have topped the Scottish University League rankings over the last few years. Additionally, the women’s volleyball team got to the British Uni Championships in Sheffield 2 years in a row and fought for great 3rd and 4th place finishes.

Some of our players train and play with Edinburgh’s National League teams. We also organise outdoor sessions during the summer. There is an opportunity to take part in beach volleyball competitions which is connected with great fun and team bonding.
