Beth Wallace, your Vice-President for Sports & Societies in 2016/17, and Hannah MacLeod, your new Vice-President for Sports & Societies in 2017/18, collected a Healthy Body Healthy Mind Award, on behalf of ENSA, at the Scottish Student Sport Awards Dinner, held at the Dalmahoy Hotel on Tuesday 13th June 2017.
The Healthy Body Healthy Mind Awards are a partnership initiative between NUS Scotland and Scottish Student Sport, funded by the Scottish Government, which focus on the link between sports, physical activity, smoking prevention and mental health.
Over the past year, Beth and the whole of Team Napier have been promoting physical activity and a healthy lifestyle as a great way for students to improve and maintain good mental health.
"This is a fantastic achievement and I am really proud to receive this award in recognition of all the hard work we put in. ENSA and Team Napier are committed to helping safeguard students' mental health; getting active and living a healthy lifestyle are great ways to do just that." said Beth.
