An online short-film festival full of stories made from within the confines of our solitary confinement raising money for those most in need.
Governments all over the world are asking people to self-isolate, therefore the Napier Film-making Society are announcing “The Film Festival of Solitude”. A film festival comprised of shorts made within the confines of your home raising money for the Salvation Army to be screened entirely online via facebook live on the 9th May.
"We are asking everyone and anyone who has a passion for film and a dislike for boredom to create “self-isolated” short films (rules are on our website) and submit them before the 5pm deadline on the 4th of May 2020. It’s free to submit but we will be asking both those that take part and those that are watching to donate to the salvation army.
An online screening of our six favourite short films, presented by our president with the help of a few special guests, will then take place on the 9th of May at 7pm via facebook live."
