What is ENSA Advice?

ENSA Advice

ENSA Advice is a free, independent, impartial and confidential service for Edinburgh Napier University students. The service is available throughout the year from Monday to Friday and accessible from Merchiston, Craiglockhart and Sighthill campuses.

Our team of professional advisers can provide one-to-one advice to students, face-to-face (public health restrictions permitting), over the phone (0131 229 8791), via MS Teams or via e-mail.

We can help you with the following enquiries:

  • Academic Appeals
  • Extenuating Circumstances / Fit to Sit
  • Academic and Non-Academic Misconduct
  • Fitness to Practice
  • Complaints
  • Other issues with your course
  • Money Advice (Student Funding, Fees, Benefits and Budgeting)
  • Housing
  • Other welfare matters

If we can’t help you, we’ll signpost you to the right service within the University or to external services.

We can also provide advice to students based on our overseas campuses. Our academic advice services are open to Global Online and Transnational Education Learners.

To make an appointment with one of our advisers, please go to our online booking system or contact us on ensa.advice@napier.ac.uk if you are not available to meet with us at offered times.
