Manifesto
As a candidate for Co-President (Sports & Wellbeing), my priority is to create a student environment where physical health, mental wellbeing, and community connection are equally valued.
If elected, I will actively advocate for accessible and inclusive sporting opportunities that welcome students of all abilities and backgrounds. I aim to strengthen communication between the student body, sports clubs, and the association to ensure clubs are well-supported and student voices are heard.
Wellbeing goes beyond sport. I will work to promote balance between academic commitments, extracurricular involvement, and personal wellbeing by supporting initiatives that reduce pressure and encourage healthy lifestyles. This includes collaborating with relevant services to raise awareness of wellbeing resources and normalise open conversations around mental health.
I am committed to listening to student feedback, addressing concerns proactively, and working collaboratively with my co-president and executive team. Together, we can build a supportive, inclusive, and vibrant community where students feel empowered, connected, and supported throughout their university experience.
