ENSA Rebrand

When you come back in January after the break you should start to see our new branding appearing both online and on campus.

Last year in a cross-campus referendum, an overwhelming majority of Edinburgh Napier students voted for NSA to change its name to ENSA, or Edinburgh Napier Students’ Association. This meant NSA had to rebrand and come up with a new logo to reflect the name change. When you come back in January after the break you should start to see our new branding appearing both online and on campus.

You can see our new logo below:

In addition to this new logo, we have revamped the branding of ENSA as a whole. ENSA has various different services that it provides for students, and in an attempt to make it easier for students to know exactly what it is that we do, we have switched to using umbrella branding for these services.

As part of this rebranding, our ISAS service will now be known simply as ENSA Advice. It is still the same free, independent, confidential and professional service as before, just with a new name. If you need advice on any welfare rights or education issues, get in touch for an appointment on 0131 229 8791 or email ensa.advice@napier.ac.uk.

The Sports Union will now become ENSA Sports, and Student Societies are now ENSA Societies. ‘Team Napier’ will still be used as the collective team name for all of the ENSA Sports clubs and Societies. (If you are a member of an ENSA Sports club or ENSA Society, you are part of Team Napier)

Any official event or campaign endorsed by ENSA will now have the ENSA Events or ENSA Campaigns branding, and anything related to our representative system (including school and programme reps) will use the ENSA Representation branding.

Finally, ENSA Volunteering is the new brand for everything covering volunteering opportunities through ENSA. You can find ENSA Volunteering at our ‘VBase’ hubs on campus, which are based at Merchiston and Sighthill.
