Scotland’s Climate Week (14-20 September 2020) is an annual initiative for people and organisations to showcase what they are doing to help the Scottish Government meet its environmental targets.
#ScotClimateWeek is a week for you to get engaged and participate in activities to reduce your impact on the environment. But it is also a week to learn and reflect on the state of the world around us.
This is why, at ENSA, we are sharing a programme for you to learn more about climate change, what causes it and how to help reduce it. This programme of events will include webinars and workshops from Greener Scotland, plus films from the Take One Action film festival. The Edinburgh Napier Sustainable Society are also having their first official meeting on Thursday - where you can join them for a chat and a quiz!
Heloisa, your VP for Reps & Volunteers will be posting sustainable tips and tricks on social media each day too - so keep an eye open for that!
The overall themes for this week are:
- How to eat sustainably
- How to save energy at home
- Learn about eco-friendly toiletries
- How to travel green
- How to dress sustainably
