With assessments and deadlines approaching, you need to make sure you are able to submit work and sit exams to the best of your ability. Take time to consider if you need an extension or to defer.
Dependent on your circumstances you can extend a coursework deadline by 5 or 10 days. You must apply for an extension prior to the original deadline date. You may be asked to provide evidence of your circumstances.
If you need longer than 10 days or it is a formal exam, you need to apply for a deferral. You must apply for a deferral within 5 working days after the original deadline. You will be asked to provide evidence of your circumstances.
