Sports Pathway Coaching are looking to recruit outstanding candidates to join our coaching team in the South East regions. We currently have various part-time positions available.

OneKind Local Group Volunteer

The Edinburgh OneKind volunteer group attends events in the Edinburgh area to raise awareness of OneKinds campaigns to end cruelty to Scotland’s animals, and to raise money to fund this vital work. The group meets up around once a month and is led by Maree. The meetings are a chance to get an update on OneKind’s campaigns, find about the events going on in the area and put forward any ideas you have for fundraising.

'As and when' fundraising volunteers

Do you believe in magic? We do, because with your help, support and a little belief, even the most vulnerable children can turn their lives around. You can really make a difference by becoming an As and When Fundraising Volunteer for Barnardo’s, and gain invaluable skills in the process.

To help coach & develop children's football talent at Redhall Star. Various age groups require help with coaching and matches. Full training will be given and opportunities exist to take SFA Youth coaching qualifications. Enthusiasm & interest are the biggest assets needed.

Community Navigator Volunteer

According to Age UK 1 million older people in the UK haven't spoken to anyone in over a month. Help us share information with older people on the range of services and activities available in the South East of Edinburgh. Help people to avoid isolation and increase their wellbeing.

Fundraising Event Co-ordinator

Changing Faces Scotland is looking for events coordinators to organise fundraisers which will raise funds for our services in Scotland. The great thing about this role is that you get to choose the events! A dance or ceilidh, a fancy dress day at your workplace, a Race Night... the list goes on!

Shop Assistant

Assist with the day to day running of the shop by serving customers and sorting and replenishing stock. Share your passion for cat welfare and promoting the work of the charity will also be important when talking to our customers.


Meal Makers connects people who love cooking with older neighbours who would appreciate some delicious home-cooked food delivered by a friendly neighbour. 'Cooks' select a 'diner' in their neighbourhood and arrange to share a meal at a time convenient to them, usually once a week, just pop round with the food you have cooked and drop it off. You can stay to eat with your diner if both parties agree to this!

Youth Activity Leader

Lead or co-lead activities and workshops to young wheelchair users aged 8-25. You might do this independently or alongside one of our staff members depending on your experience, ability and interests. Services include Ambassador Clubs, Camp Whizz-Kidz, Wheelchair Skills Training and Work Skills Days. Role may include planning and delivering fun and empowering sessions and activities, ensuring all young people are engaged and safe, and organising and evaluating events.
