ENSA's Student Elections are coming next trimester, and we want you to join us in working to improve the student experience here at Edinburgh Napier University! Applications open early in the new year, so it's something to think about over the winter break.
Running in the Student Elections is one of the most exciting things you can do whilst studying, and it could result in having a full-time job waiting for you when you finish up in the summer. As a Student Co-President, you would be fully supported by ENSA staff, get lots of training opportunities, and get to set your own priorities and goals towards improving life for students at Edinburgh Napier.
You will gain skills in communication, leadership, teamworking, project management and more, and the experience will give you an advantage in any future career path, so why not go for it?
The available posts will be:
- President for Societies & Community
Chief representative of the Edinburgh Napier student body and is responsible for working to create a shared sense of belonging in the student community, representing student concerns to university senior management, promoting and supporting student-led societies, working on student housing and accommodation, speaking at graduation events and representing Napier students to the wider community.
- Co-President for Education & Employability
Represents the student body on all matters related to their academic experience and employability, which includes; serving on academic committees, promoting student engagement in learning and teaching, and looking after the Programme Rep system.
- Co-President for Sport & Wellbeing
Responsible for representation in relation to sport and wellbeing. This includes working to promote the physical and mental wellbeing of all students, campaigning to improve student health and safety, ensuring the university's commitment to improving student sport at Napier, and contributing to the organisation of sports events such as Varsity.
Salary: £24,536 per annum
Annual leave: 38 days over the year (including 10 days when ENSA’s offices are closed)
Hours: 35 hours a week / 7 hours per day
Term: If elected, your term will be from 1 July 2026 to 30 June 2027.
