This week I’ve been talking Pensions, Vision, Mission, Values, Sport Strategy, Bins, Budgets, Board Papers, Data, Varsity, Collaborative Practice, Marketing Strategy, Staff Away Day, Briefings, Life Memberships, Staff Development, Governance with NUS, Spaces and disciplinary hearings. Everyone always tells me they like the variety of working at ENSA, and when I look back at the week I can see why. But that’s just my week – all the staff, sabbaticals, interns and volunteers have been busy day to day helping to make your student experience at Napier the best it can be. Here’s some more of the highlights!

HELP MONEY AND SAVE THE ENVIRONMENT
ENSA has set up three Swap Shops across campus. The Swap Shops are free to use for both staff and students, and there will be a range of clothing and homewares. Simply browse the rails and take anything you need. More details here Swap Shop
AFTER DINNER TICKETS FOR BALL ON SALE NOW
I don’t want to disappoint you but by the time you read this our late release of After Dinner Tickets for the Clubs and Societies Awards Ball may have sold out. Check it out here ENSA Societies & Sports Awards Ball 2026
It’s been great to see the Ball sell out over a month before the event this year, proving this is likley to be the hottest ticket of the academic year in future years.

ENSA ELECTIONS
The nominations for the ENSA Elections for the Sabbatical roles for 2026/27 are starting to come in. The deadline is 19th February (yes, that is this week!) so get those nomination in ahead of the noon deadline. Details here Stand for Election
