At ENSA we want to make sure that, as students, you have access to opportunities and resources that help you to live sustainably and get involved in creating positive change.
The climate crisis is the biggest challenge of our generation, but there are many actions that we can each take to reduce our negative impact on the planet, from individual actions such as reducing the amount of meat we eat, to getting engaged in community groups, volunteering, signing petitions and talking to people.

Student Guide to Sustainability
ENSA and the Sustainable Society have teamed up with the University to create a 'Sustainability at Home' booklet which covers everything from energy-saving tips and DIY household products to how to shop smart and reduce waste.
Sustainability Charter 2021
The Sustainability Charter outlines the responsibilities of ENSA and its staff in developing and promoting a sustainable environment in which students are empowered to make positive changes and in support of the University’s new environmental strategy.
Note: We are currently rewriting our Sustainability Charter. If you would like to get involved and have a say in how ENSA is run, then the best way to do so is by joining Student Council.

ENSA is now running full-time Swap Shops on each of our three campuses. Full details here.
Our student pantry redistributes food provided by FareShare, who work with supermarkets, restaurants, wholesalers, manufacturers, farmers and charities to get surplus food where it’s needed most across the UK. Find out where and when you can access the pantry here.
