How to book a careers appointment
Our friendly team offer career appointments online via Microsoft Teams or face-to-face at each campus. We have a range of appointment types to suit your needs, and you can book anytime from first year and up to 2 years after you graduate.
Appointment types
CV Reviews (15 minutes):
If you are looking for a quick CV review, please book a short appointment with one of our advisors. We recommend you take a look at our handy CV Guide first – it’s packed with helpful information on how to structure and tailor your CV with lots of examples to get you started.
Career Guidance Appointments (30 minutes):
For more in-depth advice, you can book a 30-minute appointment with our experienced Career Development Consultants. We can help you with:
- Exploring career options
- Finding part-time work
- Making applications including CVs, cover letters or online application forms
- What to expect during an interview or assessment centre
- Making industry connections and building a LinkedIn profile
- Planning next steps or considering further study
- Navigating recruitment with a disability or neurodivergence
Mock Interview (1 hour):
Have you got an upcoming interview, or just want to know more about them? You can request a mock interview to let you practice in a low-pressure environment or simply talk to us about what to expect in an interview – it’s entirely up to you.
