Congratulations to Evans Eghan, who has been shortlisted in the Creative Edinburgh Awards
Massive congratulations to our Student President, Evans Eghan, on being shortlisted for a Creative Edinburgh Award! The awards celebrate talent, innovation and creativity across 8 categories, and Evans has been shortlisted for The Student Award.
As some of you may know, Evans founded the Accra Indie Film Festival in his hometown in Ghana, before coming to Napier to study for his master's degree. Upon becoming ENSA’s President for Societies and Community last year, he set his sights on supporting student filmmakers both at Napier and around the world by founding the Napier Student Film Festival. The second iteration of the festival takes place from 5-7 November, and you can book your tickets here.
Evans’ shortlisting for the Creative Edinburgh Awards in the Student category is well deserved, and we’ll be cheering him on at the ceremony on 14 November at the Central Hall!
You can read all about the awards at Creative Edinburgh, and if you’d like to support Evans on the night, tickets for the awards ceremony are available now.
