FIVE THINGS FOR A FRIDAY

I can't believe it is almost February - and time for Feel Fab Feb.

I also can't believe it is Election time again.

Did someone say they can't believe it is Sports and Societies Awards Ball again? Well, it is. Tickets are selling fast!  And Varsity, when we take on QMU at ten sports (in our tenth year) is back soon too.

I can't believe the academic year is going so fast.Take time out and help save a life.  It's time to give blood next week.

Check out website news section for all the latest on these stories.

I also can't believe it is the end of the week and the culmination of six months work for sabbatical Chika Mavis and the rest of our team, and teams from other Universities, for Uniforce.  The final event is today and I'm really looking forward to seeing all the work that has gone into this project.

And finally a big hello to our new Admin / Receptionist Amanda Garcia Bathellier who has been doing a handover with Elayne McNally all month.  I can't believe Elayne retires this week after 40 years with Edinburgh Napier Students' Association.  We are celebrating with Elayne this great achievement at an event in Craiglockart this evening.  It is tinged with sadness to see her go but we hope to give her a good send off (with a few surprises) and wish her and all her family well for the future.
