Student Ambassadors by photography@napier.ac.uk
There are several opportunities for student jobs with the University that are posted throughout the term, including:

  • Student Ambassadors
  • Disability and Inclusion Student Ambassadors
  • International Student Ambassadors
  • Widening Participation Student Ambassadors

If you are willing to take a year out of your studies, or add a year on once you graduate, you could also consider running for one of ENSA's full-time Student President posts in the Student Elections. These are paid jobs for a term of office lasting one year, starting in July. Nominations open early in the new year.

Also check out the Part-Time Job Fair, co-hosted by ENSA and Student Futures, as part of Freshers Week. Connect with a variety of employers from different industries and discover exciting opportunities that match your skills and ambitions.

MyFuture Jobs Board

There are also a wide range of employment opportunities listed on the myFuture jobs board which is run by Edinburgh Napier's Employability & Careers team. These range from part-time roles whilst you are studying, to exciting graduate-level roles.

Student Futures has also produced a handy guide to finding a part-time job for International Students:

Student Circus

Student Circus

As an Edinburgh Napier University student, did you know that you have access to Student Circus? Student Circus is a job platform for international students and recent graduates, which pre-filters visa sponsored jobs.

Edinburgh Napier students and graduates now also have access to the ‘Jobs in Home Country’ feature, which lists graduate jobs from a range of countries, including Pakistan, Nigeria, India, Germany, Italy, and many more!

Alongside this new feature, there are lots of other tools and resources available via Student Circus:

Student Circus is available to all Edinburgh Napier students, and graduates of up to two years. You can register for an account here.

(The University pays for students to access Student Circus, but does not share your personal data with them. If you sign up, you will give your personal data directly to Student Circus. They are responsible for how your data is used, not the University. Please read their privacy notice to find out how they handle your information.)

Finding work elsewhere

Often the best method for finding a position outside of the University is to print your CV and walk to local businesses to ask if they are hiring. If this method seems a little too direct for you, these online sources are a great place to start:
