Recreational Sports Intern
We are looking for an organised and student-focused Recreational Sports Intern to work within our Student Engagement Team, supporting the planning and delivery of a program of recreational sport activities to improve physical, mental and social wellbeing of students.

About the post
- Pay: £12.60 per hour
- Contract: This is a fixed term contract available between November 2025 - March 2026 for 20 weeks.
- Hours: 8 hours per week within agreed days and times.
- Location: You will be based at ENSA’s main office on the Merchiston Campus with occasional travel to the Sighthill and Craiglockhart campuses.
- Reports to: Head of Student Activities
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in exploring the current recreational sport context within other institutions and conducting research with students to understand what they want from recreational sport.
- Work with the Co-President Sport and Wellbeing to plan and deliver a recreational sport program that meets the needs of students.
- Communicate with ENSA, the university, and external stakeholders to facilitate the delivery of recreational sport.
- Assist in designing and carrying out the monitoring and evaluation of the program.
