Memberships for academic session 2025/26 will go on sale around late August.

ENSA has a wide range of sports clubs that you can join. All of these clubs are a great way to get active, keep fit, socialise and make friends who share your interests.

How to Join a Club

Step 1: Take a look through our sports club directory to find which clubs are of interest to you. If you don’t see the sport you are looking for, consider starting your own club

Step 2: Get in touch with the club(s) you are interested in via their listed email or social media contacts - most of them are active on Instagram. Let them know you are interested in joining and enquire about any trials or free taster sessions. You can also chat to them at the Welcome Fair on 11 September to find out more. (Please note that the clubs are run by fellow students, so they may not be monitoring their messages until they return for the new term)

Step 3: Once you are sure you want to sign up to the club, go back to their page on our website to purchase your membership.

Step 4: For most clubs you can choose from a Full Academic Year Membership (typically runs from September through to May) or a Single-Term Membership (From September to December for Term 1, or January to May for Term 2). Add your desired selection to your basket.

Step 5: On the checkout page you will also need to add an ENSA Sports affiliation fee (£20) to your basket (more info below).

Step 6: Once you have purchased your membership, send the club another message to let them know you are signed up. You are now able to join in with any activities they have planned!

What is the ENSA Sports Affiliation Fee?

This is a fee that we charge all sports members. You only need to pay the fee once and this allows you to buy as many club memberships as you wish during the current academic year.

The fee goes towards covering ENSA’s admin and staffing costs of registering clubs in BUCS (British Universities and Colleges Sports) leagues and other competitions, room/pitch bookings, arranging fixtures and transport, and personal injury insurance to cover you if you are hurt while taking part in your chosen activity.

If you would like more information on this, please contact ensa@napier.ac.uk.

Additional Info

  • A record of your memberships is available in the Account section at the top of the page.
  • You will need to provide your chosen club with next of kin details and information on any medical issues your club should be aware of.
  • For your security, NO payment details will be saved by ENSA or SagePay.
