Student Housing Campaign
Finding a safe, affordable place to live in Edinburgh shouldn’t be a full-time job. Yet with soaring rents, scarce accommodation, and the city’s ongoing housing emergency, too many students are struggling just to get by and find somewhere affordable to live.
Our Student Housing campaign is designed to understand the difficulties of Edinburgh Napier students when it comes to accommodation. Whether you're in Napier halls, a private flat, purpose-built student accotgmmodation, or commuting from your family home, your experience matters.
Long commutes, damp flats, insecure leases, and steep rent hikes cause stress, affect your mental health, and your ability to attend classes and participate fully in university life. Nobody should have to choose between paying rent and buying groceries.
We want safe, secure, and genuinely affordable student housing. To fight for real change, we need to learn more about what issues you’ve faced. Together, we can advocate for meaningful action to be taken. Take a few minutes to complete our Student Housing Survey.
You could win one of 2 x £50 vouchers in our prize draw by taking part!
The survey closes on 4 December 2026.
