About Us
Our Photography Society is a welcoming space for anyone interested in photography, whether you have years of experience, have just picked up a camera, or are simply curious to explore photography as a hobby.
We want to create a space where we can learn from each other, experiment with different techniques and develop our own film rolls. There will be a particular focus on analogue photography, developing film and exploring the slower, more hands-on process of creating images. Digital photography and other photographic approaches are, of course, equally welcome. We will meet once a week to photograph, experiment and work on our own ideas and projects.
We will explore different photographic techniques and approaches, and share inspiration with each other.
An important part of the society will be sharing and discussing our work. We want to create an open and supportive environment where we can give each other constructive feedback, exchange ideas and help each other develop.
From time to time, we will also organize visits to exhibitions, galleries and photography events. We hope to experience new work together and, when possible, meet and talk to photographers and other artists to learn more about their practices and creative processes.
We will meet once a week throughout the semester. The content of each meeting will vary depending on the interests of the group. Some weeks may involve practical photography sessions or analogue workshops, while others may focus on feedback, discussions, creative projects, exhibitions or guest visits.
You don't need to be an experienced photographer or have expensive equipment to join. The society is for anyone who wants to learn, experiment, meet other creative people and find inspiration.
Whether you want to develop your photography seriously, explore analogue photography, work on personal projects, or simply enjoy photography as a hobby, you are welcome.
Come with a camera, come with ideas, or just come curious.
