Napier Futsal was established in 2022. In our first year as a club, we were awarded 'best new club'. Napier Futsal brings together a wide diversity of members from all over the world, all united by our love of the beautiful game (futsal). Futsal is an association football game played on a hard court, smaller than a football pitch, and mainly indoors. It has a lot of similarities to five-a-side football but has it's own rules which make the game what it is. This includes no offsides (yep!) and unlimited substitutions... Training aims to be fun, whilst developing members' football skills, teamwork, and communication. Joining Napier Futsal is a great way to learn and understand this beautiful, fast-paced game, meet new people, and make new friends. The Futsal team is for all skill levels, and anyone can join! We conduct our training sessions on Monday night between 20:15 and 21:45 at Sighthill [EN]GAGE. We take our futsal skills to the highly competitive Edinburgh Futsal League on Wednesday nights at The Oriam. After we work hard, we party harder.
