Offering Surf sessions and socials on a regular, easily affordable holidays and a easy way to get stuck in to an awesome sport! If your after a unique society experience then surf club is the way to go!
The club has been running since 2013, managed by student volunteers and ENSA. Throughout these six years Napier Surf has grown into a well established sport society. We got all the gear to get you started, with wetsuits and boards available for Surfers at all levels. If it’s your first time surfing we’ll take you through the baby steps and get you popping up in no time!
Every year the club commits to attend and contribute to events organized and supported by ENSA, such the annual sports ball. We also get involved with other Edinburgh based surf clubs through organising larger surf sessions and socials. Napier surf club works closely with Coast to Coast Surf School in Dunbar, for extra equipment hire (hard boards for the pros, and cold water equipment for the colder months) and surf lessons. Awarded most-improved club in 2015 the club is proud to be involved with charity organisations, including The Wave Project, and Surfers Against Sewage (SAS).
Napier surf club runs an annual holiday taking members to world-class Surfing destinations, including Taghazout (Morocco), Algarve (Portugal), Lanzarote Fuertoventura (Canary Islands) and Moliets (France). Holidays include 7 nights’ accommodation with food, transport to the best breaks of the day, equipment hire and nights out. The holidays are an amazing way to improve your skills, get some training from qualified instructors. Its surfing all day, and partying all night.
