Hi, this is your home away from home.

BAME is a community where Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic students and allies empower each other, learn more about our beautiful and different cultures to ultimately enjoy the University experience. We are open, welcoming, diverse in our thoughts and action, with a committed to creating a support network of similar people just like you, who share a related story like yours and can provide you with the support you need.

Success Story

We successfully merged SASS and NACS to form BAME, in our commitment to building a more inclusive community. To keep to our promise that, this is your home from home, no matter your culture.

  • Give voice and right representation for issues affecting BAME students
  • Promote race equality and diversity by providing you with a space to discuss, challenge and take action.
  • Empower minorities to enjoy their time at the university by creating a space for like-minded peers to socialise and build connections that will last even after University

As a member, you can expect that we would discuss life after University, talk about how you can improve your employability as we have professionals willing to share their journeys with you.
