Hedgehog Friendly Campus

Edinburgh Napier now has a Hedgehog Friendly Campus team! The group is led by Heloisa, your ENSA VP for Reps & Volunteers, and a keen bunch of Edinburgh Napier students.

We are supported by the British Hedgehog Preservation Society and are one of the many campuses taking part in the Hedgehog Friendly Campus initiative. This semester we will be working towards our Bronze award - we will receive it after completing certain tasks such as fundraisers and litter picks.

The reason why we need a Hedgehog friendly campus is because Hedgehogs are vulnerable to traffic, litter, and a lack of food - so they need our support to survive.

Universities are important players because they take up a lot of land - so they can help create spaces that are safe for Hedgehogs.

If you want to join our team, send us a message on Facebook or Instagram. The more the merrier! Anyone can join - there is something for everyone.
