UK Disability History Month (UKDHM) aims to focus on the history of disabled people and their struggle for equality and human rights. Did you know that around 1 in 5 people in the UK are living with some type of disability (physical, mental, visible, invisible...)?
This year from the 18th of November to the 20th of December, UKDHM celebrates the lives and achievements of people living with a disability, check out this booklet (PDF) exploring the lives of people who have influenced disability laws and rights in the UK.
