The recent, devastating floods in Nepal and Tibet are heartbreaking, and we know many of our Nepalese students are facing an incredibly difficult time right now. Whether you are waiting for news from home, dealing with unexpected financial stress, or struggling with the emotional toll, you don't have to go through this alone.
The University should have already reached out to our Nepalese students with details of campus support services. For anyone who did not receive this email but have been affected or need support, you can reach out to:

Edinburgh Napier University students can access free, anonymous, online support with Togetherall. You will have access to a 24/7 community and professional support from trained counsellors.

Our former ENSA President, and current Edinburgh Napier staff member, Manish Khatri, is Chairman of the Himalayan Centre in Leith and a board member of the Nepal Scotland Association (NSA). He is urging our student community to come together:
"Being thousands of miles away when your country is going through something like this brings a terrible feeling of helplessness," Manish shared. "Napier taught me that community matters most during the hardest moments. Today, Nepal needs that sense of community. Please check on your Nepalese friends, students and colleagues. Share the appeal, come to the vigil or contribute if you can. Nepal is hurting, and right now we ask our Napier community to stand with Nepal."
