Placements are a valuable opportunity to gain real-world experience, build confidence, and explore future career options while you study. There are placement opportunities in every School at Edinburgh Napier University.
If you have a placement module as part of your degree programme, the Placement Team is here to support you at every stage. We can help you find suitable opportunities, prepare strong CVs and applications, and get ready for interviews. More information on placements can be found on My Napier.
Through our placement preparation programmes, you’ll have access to a range of digital employability tools to support you in securing a placement. This includes advice on searching for opportunities, using your networks, developing your CV and cover letter, and preparing for interviews. Whether you’re just starting to explore your options or have been invited to interview, you’ll find tailored support.
Once on placement, you’ll continue to have our support if you need advice or encounter any challenges.
Whether you’re actively searching or just beginning to think about placements, get in touch with Employability & Careers’ Placement & Practice Learning Team — we’re here to help you make the most of your experience. Contact placements@napier.ac.uk or Sighthill.placements@napier.ac.uk (for School of Health & Social Care students).
