We’re looking for 2x creative and organised Content Creators to assist our Communications & Student Engagement Teams during Welcome Week 2026.
Who are we?
Edinburgh Napier Students’ Association (that’s ‘ENSA’ to our friends) exists to enable students to make the most of their university experience. We do this by representing, supporting, and developing Edinburgh Napier students to be successful in their studies; to try out new things; to engage in, and contribute to, university life; to be healthy and happy; to bring about positive change; and to have fun.
About the post
- Pay: £13.45 per hour.
- Contract: This is a temporary, 1-week contract, from 6-13 September 2026.
- Hours: A total of 20 hours over the course of the week (consisting of training, attending events and editing footage).
- Location: You will be based at any of the 3 campuses, and attend off-site events.
- Reports to: Head of Marketing & Social Media
Key Responsibilities:
- Attend assigned Welcome Week events to create engaging video/photo content for a variety of media and channels
- Create POV or summary videos, and other creative content
- Follow best practices when recording content
- Capture the atmosphere and student experience at events across the week
- Work with the ENSA staff team to ensure content reflects the Welcome Week brand and vibe
- Submit raw footage and edited content within agreed deadlines
What you will not be doing:
- Writing captions or posting any content yourself
- Attending every event across the week
- Managing ENSA social media accounts
- Filming or photographing students who do not wish to appear in content
- You will not be required to own or use professional equipment (however you are expected to use your own phone)
These responsibilities are not exclusive, and some tasks may change depending on the event.
The post is available for one week only, between Sunday 6 September and Sunday 13 September 2026. You will be expected to attend events most days over the week (roughly 2 hours per day), and have some availability the previous week for training.

Eligibility: You must have, at the time of application, the right to work in the UK, and be a student at Edinburgh Napier University. You can be an international student on a student visa as long as you don’t have any other work commitments the week of 6-13 September.
