Edinburgh Napier Sustainable Society is focused on promoting sustainable practices and environmental wellness through a variety of events, talks, and workshops. As a society, we believe that social change needed to fight climate change spurs from the actions of every individual. Therefore, we want to create a social hub open for everyone that drives the positive change and sustainable practices at Napier, but also in our personal and professional lives.
Since established in 2018, the society has organised swap shops, bike-powered film screenings, conferences, and took part in climate strikes, beach cleans, and campaigner training, among other things. Socials, of course, are also an important part of the society which in the past we have organised in the potlucks, pub quizzes, and salsa night – all of course with sustainability in mind!
As a society, we want to share ideas, knowledge, innovative solutions, hints, tips, jokes – good or bad, and create and support practical actions for a more sustainable lifestyle. We welcome everyone whether you are an eco-guru, want to fight for the climate while making friends, or just curious to see what the craic is!
Tune in for our social media channels for updates or get in touch and we help you to get started!
