The purpose of this society is to provide a space to build a community for anyone who self-identifies as a disabled student at the university. We welcome membership applications from any student who considers that their health problem or disability affects their student life, whether they have disclosed it to the University or not.
We plan to have bi-monthly socials, but many of them will be hosted online via our discord server for accessibility. These will include movie and games nights. We also plan to host quarterly sensory friendly club nights with quiet rooms & dim lighting after we find an accessibility friendly venue. We hope students will join to build a community of individuals who understand and can support each other.
