We are the Napier Queer Society! We are welcoming of all identities and strive to create a safe space for all queer people studying at this University. We also welcome any allies and closeted people- you don’t need to identify as any labels to be a part of this society!
Our main focus is to create a community that supports and helps each member. This group is also for anyone wanting to find more friends within the community. We want everyone to feel as though they belong in this University without having to face discrimination for who they are. There aren’t any judgements either! Please feel free to be yourself and meet other like-minded people.
We are a new society this year and are focused on creating the best possible group for new members. We are always open to suggestions via email, Instagram or in person! We want to ensure we are creating the right kind of activities that will suit most of the members’ interests and schedules. Our current meetup days are Tuesdays at the Merchiston campus. However, as this society continues to grow, we aim to make this group more accessible to other members.
