Welcome to the Edinburgh Napier University Techno Society page!
At first glance most students see our society and automatically assume we are a techno society who are all about drinking and heavily involved into the rave scene, this is not the case!
Whilst we also still love to stick to our techno roots, we also provide events with a much more chill, sociable, House and Disco setting.
Our society as seen in the past couple years aims to host multiple events a month. Often in collaboration with some of the top promoters in the country.
We also aim to host a monthly society social which will take place in a bar setting away from the nightclubs for a more calm and sociable experience for our members.
We also provide teaching sessions where you will be able to learn how to DJ and once confident you will be given the chance to play in a bar or nightclub setting.
Over the years many NUTS resident DJs have gone on to huge things in the music scene, from playing at some of the UKs biggest music festivals to also in some cases playing worldwide!
Above all, this society will function as a great social platform for you as our members. Joining us means you will meet new people, keep up to date with what's happening in Edinburgh and have a whole lot of fun! You may also use the group to invite fellow members to your own events/nights out.
