We plan to host screenings of films with Q&A’s and guest talks every week. We plan to meet every two weeks to do socials/fundraisers that would rotate each fortnight. We plan to do fundraisers to raise funds for the society and ensure a steady cashflow. We plan to create films using the equipment at Merchiston campus every two month using ideas members have the previous month pitched.
Students should join because they are passionate and enthusiastic about films. Students and non-students have the opportunity to network and become friends with likeminded people.
The film society will be a positive environment for people to socialise and progress in their filmmaking careers.
