About Us
Want to improve your dancing skills while making new friends? Napier Dance is the place for you! With classes in several styles, competitive teams, and social events, you’ll love every second.

Napier Dance has been developing and running successfully for several years. We offer a variety of experiences for a range of different abilities. This year we are very pleased to be offering 7 different dance styles (Jazz, Ballet, Tap, Lyrical, Commercial, Hiphop and Contemporary), all taught by our talented members and our professional hip hop teacher, Kijean, in our home at ENGAGE Sports Centre, Sighthill Campus. In addition to this, we have a yearly show allowing you the chance to perform for your loved ones, biweekly socials on a Wednesday, loads of fundraisers and social events throughout the year, and the opportunity to compete for Edinburgh Napier at a national level in our competition teams!
The dance team has a relaxed and friendly atmosphere and everyone is welcome at Napier Dance, no matter what your dance ability! The classes are fun, welcoming and able to challenge dancers of all levels. The fun continues outside of classes as the dance team hold socials, whether it is a night out, days out to get to know your fellow members or just a trip to the cinema. Being part of the dance team will enhance your student experience as it enables you to make friendships and create memories you will cherish forever.
We hold a Taster Week at the start of the year, please come along and try out all our styles! We welcome new people at any point in the semester so feel free to get in touch through email or social media if you’d like to come along and give it a go!
To keep up with all things Napier Dance, we are on Instagram, YouTube and TikTok!
