Orchestral Society

The Edinburgh Napier Orchestral Society welcomes all classical musicians in the University who want to perform with an orchestra. It is a great place for those with a passion for music to connect and meet other students from the univesity you might not know otherwise! We encourage all students from outwith the music department to join the society.

Treats are provided at every rehearsal, and we plan social events throughout the year - including bowling - which are planned outside of rehearsals for members to get to know each other!

Rehearsals take place on Tuesday evenings at 5pm in the Glassroom on Merchiston Campus during term time and we perform two concerts a year. Reach out to us on our social media pages for more information and any queries you might have!

The orchestra provides a relaxed environment to play a range of repertoire, so If playing in an orchestra is something you did in school and want to continue as a hobby, then you should come and join us!
